What Should I Do If I Drank Too Much Last Night?
Drink water, eat something plain, rest, and give it time. There's no quick fix, and most hangovers get better within a day.
The simple answer
Your body needs time to clear the alcohol. Drink water or another non-alcoholic drink, eat something plain like toast or crackers, and rest. There is no quick fix. Most hangovers get better within a day. If it lasts much longer or feels much worse, talk to a doctor.
Myth vs Fact
A greasy breakfast, a hot shower or strong coffee will fix it.
NIH says there is no cure for a hangover other than time. Cleveland Clinic says more alcohol ("hair of the dog") won't help either.
