Do Hangover Pills Work?
No good evidence. No pill or supplement has been scientifically proven to prevent or cure a hangover.
The simple answer
Hangover pills and capsules are sold as supplements, usually with vitamins or plant extracts. Cleveland Clinic notes that hangover pills and supplements make cure claims without evidence to back them up. Studies have not shown that any of them reliably prevent or cure one, and some supplement ingredients can interact with alcohol or with medicines you take. Fluids, rest and time are what help most.
Myth vs Fact
The right pill before bed means no hangover in the morning.
No supplement has been proven to prevent a hangover, and mixing supplements with alcohol can carry its own risks.
