How Do You Get Rid of Hangover Nausea?
Time is the real fix. Small sips of fluid, bland food and rest can ease the nausea while it passes.
The simple answer
Alcohol irritates your stomach lining and makes your stomach produce more acid, which is why you feel sick. While your body clears the alcohol, a few things can make you more comfortable: small sips of water or a rehydration drink, bland food like toast or crackers once you can manage it, fresh air and rest. Skip another drink, because that only delays the nausea. If vomiting comes with any of the warning signs at the bottom of this page, treat it as an emergency.
Myth vs Fact
Another drink settles your stomach.
More alcohol only postpones the nausea and adds to what your body has to clear.

- Cleveland ClinicCleveland Clinic advises against the hair of the dog approach, because more alcohol only delays symptoms.
